The Queen’s University Association London’s Annual Black-Tie Dinner takes place on the evening of Wednesday 7th November 2018 at the Oxford and Cambridge Club, 71 Pall Mall, London.
Guest speaker is QUB alumnus Sir John Parker GBE, FREng, Chairman of Pennon Group and Laing O’Rourke. We will also be joined by the University’s Faculty Pro Vice for the Arts, Humanities and Human Sciences, Professor Adrienne Scullion.
Sir John has built up an enviable reputation across a range of industrial sectors as a leader in the boardroom, including Chairman at five FTSE100 companies. He is former President of the Royal Academy of Engineering and a visiting Fellow at Oxford University and is also currently lead non-executive director for the Cabinet Office.
Professor Adrienne Scullion is Faculty Pro Vice Chancellor at Queen’s, overseeing 7600 students and 700 academic and support staff who work in five Schools – Arts, English and Languages, History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics, Law, Management, and Social Sciences, Education and Social Work – and a Global Research Institute, the Senator George J Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice.
Due to space restrictions the number of places for this year’s dinner are limited and the event is therefore highly likely to sell out. The dinner is open to all Queen’s University alumni and their guests and members of QUAL can avail of discounted dinner tickets. Early booking is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.
Tickets can be booked online here:
Tickets can also be booked here at Eventbrite although additional fees apply.
